Barcelona is the capital of Cataluña, with its own
language, Catalán. It´s known for its museums,
architecture by Guadí, and the famous cathedral,
La Sagrada Familia. It hosted the Olympic Games in 1992.
Barcelona has influence in international business &
politics. It´s a city with a lot of initiative. Throughout
Spain´s history Barcelona has been the birthplace
of creative ideas and new things in Spain. Some examples
of firsts are: the Olympics, expo, the republic, the train.
